TERC's Explore Rome Tour
"City of the Soul" was
the epithet Lord Byron gave Rome (Roma) and the poet's characterization still
conveys the complexity and beauty of The Eternal City. In her history,
her people and her landscape, Rome encompasses the splendor and the squalor
of civilization over time. Less efficient and sophisticated than many
other European cities, she surpasses most in her intricate lacing of past
with present. You cannot visit Rome without being changed in some way.
She helps us understand ourselves, our "potential magnificence" as well
as the fragility of our world.
Explore Rome:
Here is a daily schedule to help you plan for each day. It lists your
daily sightseeing plan, where you'll sleep each night, the amount of
free time you'll likely have, and an estimation of time needed to accomplish
the basic sightseeing plan.
