Conditions:
- The chosen countries must be bordering, and have a direct (not through another country) train or shipping line which is part of the Eurail offer (e.g.: France, Benelux* and Germany are three bordering countries).
- Passes must be validated within 6 months of issue date and must be validated prior to first train journey and/or first use of bonuses. You validate the pass in the ticket office of the railway station prior to boarding your first train.
- Certain trains may transit through a country not covered by the pass. In that case an additional ticket must be purchased.
- If an overnight train starts after 7pm on a validated Eurail Selectpass, the passholder must enter the next day's date on the pass, provided it falls within the validity of the pass.
- *Benelux refers to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. This is considered one country for the Eurail Selectpass.
- Valid for sales from: 4/4/2005 to 7/28/2005
- Valid for travel: Within 6 months from purchase which can be as late as 28 January 2006.

Selectpass Some
New Eastern Europe countries have been added to 2005 Selectpass that are
not covered by the 17-countries include: Rumania, Slovenia/Croatia, and
Bulgaria/Serbia/Montenegro. (Each of these clusters counts as only one "country
on the Selectpass).
Europe Multi-country Rail
Pass: For
a focused trip in Europe, this 3, 4, or 5 country pass
is
a terrific buy-allowing you to tailor your train travel --and even
driving-- to your itinerary! Choose any three, four, or five of the
"18" Eurail countries that are directly connected
by rail or by ferry line. Hundreds of European country combinations are possible
for you to "link together like a chain" by train or car. For instance, passes
could cover Ireland-France-Benelux -Italy-Greece or Spain- France-Germany-
Denmark-Finland.
These railpasses are available with discounts-- see the Saver versions for 2 or more persons traveling together as well as second class Youth versions for additional savings. NOTE: the Benelux region (Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg) count as one country.
Early Bird Special: Many Selectpasses purchased by 31 March 2008 can include an extra travel day free. For regular 6-, 8-, and 10-day prices, the Early Bird Special gives you 7, 9, or 11 days on trains within a two-month period for travel started by 30 September 2008. No change to travel period, refunds, or other rules. Offer does not apply to 5- and 15-day versions.
